Nothing can be more frustrating when you are trying to reach someone who is incommunicado or has gone awol(MIA). You must make yourself available.
Know Your Customers/Clients/Listen to them
Customers can be very blunt as they expect quality service(s) from the organization. An irrate client will tell several others of your poor services. You must as a matter of necessity understand your clients and their business profiling to enable you add value to their businesseses. Learn to listen to your customers, meet their needs, manage them efficiently to avoid escalation to the boss and to avoid portraying the organization in a bad light. Please understand that you represent your organization so be sure to always portray your organization in a positive light.
As you provide efficient service to your customers, they become brand loyalists and advocates for you. Efficient service to clients also helps with the Org business growth as well as your own growth as an employee.
Do not compromise work hours
Employees need to give their employer 100% loyalty when working and if possible 150% loyalty. Ensure that what ever hours you have been signed on are efficiently utilized. Do not cheat on your employers time by engaging in matters not relating to the organization. You must have an ownership mentality. Just think, it it were my personal business, how will I handle it?

Think Long Term/ Go The Extra Mile
We all need indepth knowledge on choosen career fields. Jumping from one organization to the next actually portrays you as unstable, unreliale and not to be trusted. If you really need to have a solid foundation from which you can spread out, then consider staying on in your organization for 2- 3 years. it helps you understand the intricacies of your field and helps you grow personally.
On the other hand, this helps your employer have a long term plan for you as it is seen that you are ready to contribute your quota and grow with the organization in the right direction.
So you have probably signed on 8 hours a day but there may be need to work extra hours or extra days, please do so with the right attitude and do not jeopardize the job to be done.
Be Proactive And Resourceful, Fix Mistakes
Making use of your discretion comes in handy at all times especially in an organization where yiu have ben empowered to take decisions. You however need to be wary and in cases of uncertainty, reach out to your team lead for clarification.
Be resourceful, do not expect everything to be served to you on a platter of gold, accept your mistake when it is pointed out and apologetic. Be willing to learn and ready to grow.
Even as you expect salaries, pecks amongst other compensation, you must remain loyal to the organization you work with and obey laid out instructions, follow procedures and adhere to policy guidelines.
Finally do your job and do it dilligently. Do not cut corners or do your job haphazardly. Strive to leave it bettr than you met it. Reduce the complaints and if possible eliminate them totally. Hard work pays. Be smart about getting your assignments done and be sure to meet deadlines.
