4 Most Important Relationship Types That Will Activate Your Success.

We are not new to the word ‘Relationships”as it is one major aspect of our existence. Consciously or unconsciously, everyone alive is in one relationship or the other. For an instance, the relationship I have with my mum is one relationship I will keep talking about now and for years to come.

For you, it might be the relationship you have with your pet (funny), parent (just like me), classmates, neighbors, relatives, siblings, spouse, etc.

There are several types of relationships, we can begin to talk about right now. Fact is why some relationships are healthy, others are toxic, some are with bitterness while some might even cause you depression. Interestingly, some you have no control over while some are as a result of your own decision.

In this article, we will not be discussing every type of relationship, but we will be examining 4 major types that will accelerate your journey to success.

To work towards success, it becomes a necessity to understand these relationships properly, know how to handle the situations that have the potential to become a hindrance for you in the future.

Romantic relationships:

Ok, so, this may not be the most important of all 4 four points as it relates to your business but as little or as trivial as it may appear, it is one that has the most vital impact on your attitude, mindset, and output. We all at every point in time desired to be loved or love someone, it is just a pure law of nature. Even God says “Love each other as I have loved you” according to a scripture passage. In times of emotional gambit.

As an entrepreneur, it is important to choose a romantic partner that understands you. The life of an entrepreneur is not for everyone and has broken up a few relationships along the way. Your partner must be able to understand the dynamic nature of your endeavor. If you are in a romantic relationship with someone who doesn’t understand, their attitude can affect time spent in your business and how you appear to your customers in every sphere.

Your Circle of Friends:

There is nothing as beautiful as having good friends around you. Good friends support your vision and mission and help push you on the right path to your goals. Bad friends try to drag you down to their level, unfortunately, many people tend to keep more bad friends than good friends, this set of friends can’t see past their situation. You have probably read many quotes about how the people you hang out with can impact your life. A popular one says “show me your friend and I will tell you who you are”

As an entrepreneur, you have to be very deliberate and selective of the type of friends you keep, surround yourself with people who are making moves in their lives, not parasites who are just there for what you have to give them. Work hard on getting ahead and looking to connect with other like-minded entrepreneurs. Those are the circle of friends that will help your business grow.

Your Partners in Business:

There is not sitting on the fence here, is either this ship sails or sink. A business partnership that is not properly synergized will leave both or either party worse than before the partnership. A business partnership could be very profitable. Any type of partnership requires constant work, honesty, communication, and a lot of other factors to make it work. If you can afford it, consult with professionals that can access and examine the inner workings of both parties, from here you will be able to know if you will be fit for each other, just like in marriage.

Just like your friends, you have to be very strategic and patient when forming partnerships. There will be many opportunities that look as though they are right for your business, but could ultimately dent your brand image and public perceptions. When your business is triumphing, especially, different opportunities (good and bad) will surface. You have to research the person—even if you know them. You have to get clarity long before you enter a business partnership—especially legally. Choose wisdom in your actions.

Clients Relationships:

This is where the money comes from, I mean, that’s why you are in business in the first place. This last type of relationship is one that will continue to grow as long as the first three boxes have been properly checked. Your duties here will be to continually provide value to your clients, as you create value in your market, word-of-mouth marketing will kick in, and your business will grow exponentially. As you create more value and help people solve their biggest problems, your business will scale.

One major struggle you’ll face is time. Your fans/followers/clients will want more of your time to get their questions answered or simply to pick your brain. Time is the one resource you can’t recreate so you will be forced to say NO more than you have previously in your life. You do this at the risk of upsetting some, but the reality is that you can’t please everyone. The key to this type of relationship is to maintain control. This is your life and business.

There are many different types of relationships in your life. Your relationships can help you progress beyond your wildest dreams, so, focus on what will help your business’ success. You are the one that determines what effect they have. Be smart about your choices.
